A poem for the above picture prompt provided by the promptuarium

Thrown headlong into the fisherman’s basket
the captured crabs jostle about
no ambition to end up as five star dining,
served up by a celebrity chef
so they climb on top of one another
creating a ladder to escape to the blue
with their crafty claws
scurring sideways and overboard
instead of ending cooked and on serving board
