I volunteer at Sale Harriers athletic club and at Imperial War Museum North – where i help as a guide to visitors in the galleries. A blogger, photographer, volunteer and occasional writer.

Morning after

The Monday after the Sunday

Where I’d helped

Construct a stall

At a local festival

Handy team of four

Discussing wi the locals

Items they wouldn’t see

Without a pane of glass

Excited youngsters ,

Show their interest in objects

As bacon and sausage wafts over the field

And brass band members tune up

And cadets from services all

Show their drill prowess

In the bright northern sunshine

To the sound of the band

    I like the line about the youngsters showing their excitement about objects

      Thanks lagiraffa. We were at Longford park, in Manchester on Sunday for a local festival. We were well received by all the kids that attended and the borough mayor was in attendance.
