They say he’s a mongrel
a lower class
not to the standard of the pedigrees
But this cur has much more to offer
than those pedigree chums in the kennels
look at that swagger – look at the smile
loyalty to his owner that sticks out a mile
And while pedigrees are pampered
he’s wagging his tail – in garden wi a stick
chasing down chew toys
compared to pedigrees – he’s quick!
