Coniston, Lake District

an acrostic response to the prompt Scamper

2nd July 2017

 

So here we are, by one of the lakes

Chasing sticks with the pet dog on the marina sands

As little dogs go, he’s very clever

Missing fewer than he catches

Pressing his paws into the soft brown sand

Expecting you to chase him after catching every stick

Really nice way to spend a summers afternoon
