Humble wildflower, mistaken for a common weed.

Patches of your glorious gold – shine in the morning sun

Bringing a smile to insects and birds alike

As bright as the sun, wise men use you for medicine

and your cousins look on with their lion like stare

for in essence – they’re a pale imitation

while you can make the people better

all they can do, is make them sneeze!
