Vanished

a poem in response to the prompt

Vanish

Quite a trick you managed there

disappearing into fresh air

where you’ve gone – I haven’t a clue

but I know exactly what to do

even though you’ve gone – with out a trace

I know what will make you return to place

I’m off to make your favourite pie

and back to the house – soon you will fly.
