Anticipation

As you know, there’s a day in the year where endless

Numbers of children up and down the land

Take to their beds (early)

In the hope that in the wee hours of the

Christmas season starting, they’ll get a chance to

Inspect what’s been left under the decorations.

Presents, delivered by mr claus

After he’s landed his snow covered sleigh and entered the house

To the little ones, its the pinnacle of all those days

In school and at home – being good

Of course – by the time he gets here they’ll be asleep – coming from the

North Pole with his Naughty and Nice List.
