Shadow v.2

Shadow

Appearing upon the arrival of the summer sun

following you everywhere you go

casting its presence across rocky headland, and ocean floor

it loves the sunshine and eats it up

but disappears from view upon the sight of grey skies

he rises upon cliffs and stretches across sand

attached to you – he’s one of a kind

only disappearing when the sun goes down

reappearing upon the moon’s arrival

    1. Glad you liked it – I didn’t want to be reposting an old poem – but if you search out my other ‘shadow’ poem you’ll see another view on this prompt.
