The best part of a Summer holiday

Walking along the sands before the rush

Enjoying the calm of the morning and the gentle sea breeze

It takes the edge off the mercury rising

Watching locals doing the same

The wind gently blowing a kite into the clouds

Little kids paddling while the sun finds its teeth

As for me its sinking my feet into cool soft sand

And letting the sea carry my worries away with a gentle turn of a wave

Absolute bliss.
