The Inkwell

from inkdrop – poetry, places and events

The skies are blue,

broken up in patches

by little white , fluffy clouds

somewhere up there

The sun plays hide and seek

behind a building or a hill

and will keep on doing that, until

the clock turns 12 and its time for his bed

and its time for the moon to play with the clouds instead
