While lessons are over
for fun in the sun
the youngest gnomes homework
has just begun
Watering the flowers
and pruning the trees
seeking out the dandelions
on both of his knees
His task it is simple
with rewards to suit
producing four kinds
of a tasty fruit
and there’s one for each teacher
for each terms class
of different colour
thats fallen on grass
