from the late night shift

and others awake with the morning sun

beyond the bedroom windows

and factory doors

there’s a crowd amassing

News on the telephone line

travels fast round these parts

brought from across the blue

by our friends from the coast

there’s a new spot in town

with a generous host

What’s your fancy ?

Seed, Nut, Fruit or Fish

for the ones up early

It’s what’s scattered early by the hoomans

fulfills their wish
