back in the day

a caveman made a

sweet but subtle noise with a

stretched out animal skin

because the sound was

a different sound to the ones

sounding outdoors

several others wanted a go

before you knew it, they’d

assembled in a group

serenading the rest of the tribe with

sweet sounding bass notes

banging on various

assembled instruments

sounded different in the

surroundings

but the sound everyone

assembled knew well came

sat in the middle of the group

sound of the big bass drum
