Strange
how the high street , seems
unusually quiet
there’s nothing seemingly happening
up at the big shops,
particularly at the out-of-town place
Surprised ? perhaps but
having the staff having the day off is
obvious during a
public holiday – the one’s open ? Manned by Managers.
So it’s no surprise
having seen people hunting
up at the nearby garage….
they’re searching for the last bits of their festive lunch
