Make way for the Mad march hare
as spring has bounced into the fresh morning air
red and green apples, sprout from their branches – yelling
“Come and get me!”
hopefully they won’t hit the ground too hard
Making an appearance, fresh flowers
appear making a colourful border
round the green lawn, as
conifers greet the return of birds, as the weather
heats up and they come back to their nest
