as their deciduous friends
go from leaves of green
to a more vibrant colour
rich warm reds and oranges
create a canvas of yellows and browns
turning the trees into
a more colourful creation
and dropping their seeds
provides delight for birds and squirrels alike
and perhaps the kids returning from school
as they look for the perfect conker
