There’s a lot of things you can do

for mother earth

to say thank you for her

many years of service

Sending your used paper

off to the mill

ensures that it doesnt

end up under a hill

Plastic bottles get chopped up

and turned into beads

for making more bottles

or some other need

While other bottles

this time made of glass

are reshaped in the kiln

hot and fast

and metals and steel and iron reform

into new metal sheets that are formed

and aluminium is melted in fire that boils

for ingots and boxes and fixings and foil
