A bit of precipitation
doesn’t frighten me
as the lovely hazel tree
reveals its treasures
watch as i fly
through the summer air
on a quest
to grab the finest of bounty
No hazel nut is safe
as i grab hold
of the tastiest treats
to fill my larder
I wrote a children’s story a while back, not published, and I also used the phrase bounty to talk about the squirrels finds!
