Overhill

Daily writing prompt
You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?

The bag gets packed

Spare clothes, toothbrush, toothpaste

provisions for lunch – and money for the hostel

camera and batteries to snap

those all important views

and thought must be given

to the steel chariot getting me to the

start of my journey

Salford quays to uppermill

seems a lifetime away – but not

when you have a travel pass for the tram in your hand
