The best mistake….

I bought a really tasty chocolate bar

one schoolday in July

and left it in sight of the kitchen window.

Now, on this rather sunny day

it cooked in its wrapper by the suns rays

(It looked a mushy mess)

so had to be revived in the polar coolness

of the kitchen refrigerator.

Time passed – the mushy mess remassed

and something else had changed.

chocolate now – a different shape

massed around nougat and grape

and shared out with others – tasty treats after tea

chocolate fudge – for my sister and me!
