Away from the concrete jungle

the noise of trading and transport

lies a cover of trees where the birds meet

and there’s lots of wildlife you and meet

small fish and tadpoles under water

intriguing a little son or daughter

as they watch from a bridge over looking the lake

and spotting a goose who’s taking a break

from life nearby – where there’s lots of noise

unlike this spot, where the birds can be poised

and listen – you can hear them all chatting away

discussing the best dinner spots to make their way
