The Sun is up and about
as are the winged aviators on
this Winters morning
Spotters sent out on saturday night
report news of tasty treats
left on lawns and tarmac terraces
Time to rebuild
their homes in the trees
and let those worries just fly by
vantage point – a perfect place
to sweep up en masse – not leaving a trace
of tasty seed to feed the chicks – left upon the city bricks
