Totally the right thing for a winters morn
each one heated under the grill so
a host of flavours are released
currants, sultanas and mixed fruit peel
are combined with winter spices – cinnamon and nutmeg
kings of the morning grill (just don’t tell the bacon and sausages that)
each buttery bite releasing a cornucopia of tastes
strawberry jam ? optional – If you really want it.
