Looking up – you see it rising
in the night sky
giving the boats an idea of where the
headland is while out at sea
the brightness also
helps the coastguard and the lifeboat crews
out in the water – as it picks out the positions of boats
usually its switched on when the sun is napping but
someone is always on call – in case of
emergency at sea
