I listen to a lot of podcasts.

Spoken word podcasts share a whole host of written stuff, from Comedy , Drama , Documentary and Poetry

The Friday Night Comedy Podcast from Radio 4 contains a whole host of comedy classics….you can of course purchase the CDs individually , (there’s usually 4 programs on 2 CDs in a set). But thanks to the Internet you can now listen to the programs over your computer

Everything from The Goons and The Two Ronnies to Hancock’s half hour, Kenny Everett and Harry Enfield.

There’s also poetry and children’s stuff available on the web. Classic Tales like Alice in Wonderland and Winnie the pooh to modern stories like the Narnia tales and the cat in the hat. When i was young – i used to watch the Magic Roundabout and Dangermouse – and these have been given a brush up turning the Old TV favourites into Audio

I’ve recently been invited to provide stuff for the Writeclub Podcast, led by the poet Mark Grist. As a group we’ve contributed stuff that spans over Seven episodes so far….and covering a whole host of subjects

Fancy a listen ? We’re available on podbean and handily ITunes – just seek us out at writeclub open mic. My contributions can be found on three of the seven podcasts – but they are all great,
