An inquisitive little animal

entered our front garden

checking out the greens, the ferns and the trees

scampering through the heather

and passing through the daffodils

till he looked up – and saw he had an audience

“Don’t mind me,” he cheerfully squeeked,

“It’s not your flowers that i seek

I’m just looking for a suitable spot

some place i can use as a hazelnut pot”
