Sunday Afternoon Photo Challenge – October

#tsc_1to3 #Sycamore

On the way to Hadrian’s wall

there once was a sycamore standing tall

it looked like a most brilliant sight

when stood in the sunshine – all beaming and bright

People would walk past this wonder of green

and say what a beautiful sight they had seen

but then in the night a terrible thing

some one came at the sycamore with a sharp axe swing

The hikers on passing

decried the act

and notified those – who needed the facts

Decisions were then made

to replant a tree

a sycamore – but one that was

not bigger than thee

And the feller that swung the axe might relent

if he knew what his final act would have meant

as the old tree removed – as the hikers they passed

a much younger tree – now sat in the grass

    1. I’ll be honest Fandango, that was the image i was aiming for at the start of the process. I played about with a few processes to get the desired result.
