At the Hospital

And we’re doing the hospital today

landing at the x-ray department

where a magical machine takes

a number of pictures inside my head

without a need for a circular saw

the table i lie on – goes back and forth

as individual slices appear on screen

in glorious technicolour

all brought by the marvel of cameras

doing a dance around my head

what am i thinking ? The tech’s can’t tell

the doctors might have an idea

but its the crew of the WRVS that might

Chocolate or Strawberry donut with my cuppa ?
