How Time Flies

Another Writeclub prompt – Cheers to Leanne for providing this one

Noise of the time piece, as tick follows tock –

And swallows fly through the air –

as leaves go by wind up into the sky,

as the cogs keep moving through the town hall clock –

the birds harvest food without care,

And with each seed suns seconds have shone –

hours pass by and you wonder why

those precious moments have moved on.
