Shall i compare you to a summer rose?,
a bit of a thorny question.
There are more lovlier flowers to compare –
and one comparison i’ll give you a mention –
like a primrose you’re delicate with a colour that’s bright –
one i’ll treasure by day and even by night….
and though we may part for a short little while –
your return to my eyes always makes me smile.
