Why did the chicken cross the road ?
at the request of their little chicks
to aid their friends out of a mess
coming to the aid of a frog and a toad
who couldn’t find their way out of the sticks
and out of a muddy hole
and mrs frog and mrs toad – were awfully blessed
when their little uns returned to them whole
