Around this time, there’s a furry friend

who can be found at Easter Weekend

delivering sweet stuff – mile after mile

and making all the little ones smile

but before he delivers those eggs on the lawn

he’s doing another job – at Easter’s dawn

mixing up something sweet out of bread

and serving them up – to remember the dead

Now its true to say he enjoys the weekend

delivering chocolate to all of his friends

but in front of those ovens – it’s not at all funny

when he’s sat like a hot cross easter bunny.
