A Writeclub prompt. Cheers to Jacqui for providing it

Its a familiar view

you could say people see it

in their thousands everyday

not like the portraits at your local gallery

its No Rembrandt, Van Gogh or even Lowry

but a vision all those who view it

and while the colours move about below

there’s no enhancement required

or plaster or colour

but perhaps a refreshing drop of H2O

combined with a bit of bubbly soap

and the best bit of this picture?

It’s smiling back at you
