says a lot about the person

who lives in the space beyond it

This door isn’t so much

an entranceway

but more – likely

a map of the night sky

So it might not seem Strange

if i told you – the residents

are catching forty winks

after last nights stellar observations

The exception – the family dog

who’s playing with his favourite chew toy

out on the lawn

while his owners dream of stars
