The bag was opened and turned upside down
toppling like a waterfall came
a whole host of colourful flavours
reds, greens and yes – even blues
danced upon the table top
bursting out like the sunshine
citrus surrounding wild berries
orange meeting strawberries
raspberries meeting zingy lemon
blackberries meeting sharp lime
perfect partners ? no – mixed up in a jumble
random ? possibly but you could always pick out your favourites
the tastiest hived away for later
as an after dinner treat
