Face

For every human – it identifies you
a living portrait – that its owner
cannot see – until of course
exposing the portrait to a mirror

Fixed on the viewer
a pair of jewels
could be jade or aquamarine or
even Brownstone

Filling the frame of the camera
a single moment in time
captured by the lens
exposed to the film
