as the sands of time, flowed

down towards christmas day

voices on the big box in the corner

eeked out a message about bargains to be had

rolling out after you’ve eaten your turkey and mince pies

token moment in the break of the big stores that

it’ll be back to normal in the morning and

some of the stuff that seemed

much too much the day before will be cheaper tomorrow

expect a few surprises – or perhaps a few shocks as

notable drops appear in the store

that 24 hours ago – tried to squeeze every last penny from your wallet.
