It’s Cold outside (Is it ? to a polar bear – it’s boiling!)

The frost making pretty patterns (till it melted into a puddle)

stuck to the top of modern chariots (now cascading into the canal)

while winged creatures practice unorthodox procedures

(no longer on the rooftops, chancing the waterways instead)

More chance of endless bounty across the road

(allowing for the local canines and felines)

Broadcasters regret – “Disruption” in Service

(The swallows and starlings are doing the paso on your aerial

enjoy it – there’s not much on anyway!)
