The children of the Kindergarten

wanted to play outside

the nursery nurses brought out the colours

and paper with lots of pride

And from these miniature Rembrandts

Rainbows formed in colourful arc

And giggles and laughter could be heard on the grass

as they painted things from the park

funny trees in brightest orange

and flowers in yellow and blue

with birds of many a colour

and behind trees, some animals too.

And the coloured paint, well, it fell like raindrops

and some of it fell on the boards

whilst some of it travelled through airway

and onto the kiddies, towards

but as nurses looked after their charges

the orderlies were shaking their heads

as they cleaned up the kiddies clothing

while the nurses cleaned hands and their heads
