To my international readers, a recollection of the mess created by those who run the political system in my country….i’ve tried to be nice about it (sic)….Inky

I’m trying my best to remember

the days before Liz,

she might have shared our old monarch’s name

but she’s got us all in a tiz

Maybe it was better with Boris

the one we had before

he might have hidden in fridges

but at least we knew the score

Problem is he lied about lockdown

and in his backyard he went to town

till the news got hold of his partying

and he was forced to go to ground

And before him there was PM Theresa

a sturdy kind of girl

who had to deal with the Brexit Mess

and came home with her flag unfurled

Perhaps we should have stayed with David,

but a goliath called Europe got him

aided by a banker called Nigel

and with a turn , he was gone on a whim.
