What’s that smell ?

Walking through freshly cut grass

heightens the senses

picking up notes singing of the seasons

from tulips, daffodils and roses

sweet smells travel down the path

as nearby bakery cooks up something sweet

and the kids line up outside the door

for an iced doughnut or gingerbread man
