can hurt over
a period of time

I try
to pen those
emotions onto paper

Thoughts
turn into raindrops
falling onto page
IV
Words of ink smudged
as feelings cascade
across the vellum

The puddles dry, The letter sent
but the reader can still see
where the teardrops fell

With a background in computing, and writing – his pen name harks back to when he played around with rhymes and a fountain pen.
