It’s been rolling about

In your pocket

for a while now

Waiting to bump

into its chums

on the playground floor

Travelling at some speed

into the collective

amassed

Some greet him warmly

whilst others dart off

quickly

      Cheers Peter! I always liked the cats’ eyes marbles, but the different colours in the rock like ones always caught my eye.

        I occasionally dig one up in my garden! Some child, in the past, obviously lost a lot whilst playing.
