Too Many Bones – Too

The Professors and the Doctors

shook their heads

as they watched the students

with their problem

They had been on the dig

for a number of weeks

measuring bones and

giving them tweaks

And putting them together

leg “a” to foot ‘b”

to show off their theories

as part of their degree

But now there’s a problem

in the jewel – there’s some grit

at least one of the bones

in the skeleton doesn’t fit

so they’ve put all the bones

that don’t fit in a pile

this second skeleton –

just might take a while
