I suppose we’re all just like cupcakes
made from the same basic ingredients
but changed slightly in look, shape or colour
all sat on our stands
waiting to be picked
for one thing or another
these cakes are all individual
you can’t say one’s identical to the other
its what sets them out from the others on the cakestand
and if all the cakes were just raspberry or lemon
it would make afternoon tea, like life, pretty boring
