Stop Fidgeting, keep hands on the table
then pick up the pencil and solve if you’re able
the exercise given on the chalk board
and follow the teachers instructions to the horde
Treat your books with respect – and you will pass
don’t scribble or leave them lying on the grass
lose them and your folks will be paying a fee
and that will upset them – im sure you’ll agree
Listen to the masters, don’t yell or talk
or heading your way, a piece of chalk
Don’t use the paper for summat to throw
for if you do outside the door you will go
Acting like banshees in the playground again
or fighting will find you standing in rain
Running down corridors – you might slip or fall
or finding your self stood silent by a wall
Educations important – mum and dad say,
but when sun is fine – the kids wan’t to play
With all these rules – the kids start to cuss
it’s a wonder why we turn up for the annual fuss?
