Can you hear the sleigh bells yet ?

Salford, 28th November 2020

I’m not feeling particularly festive at present.

Its Dark and cold outside, as the last of November’s nights draw in

and yes, that means, the run to the festive season has already started

Tomorrow – is “Advent Sunday”, and i’m guessing the advent calendars will be on the walls of every kid in the neighbourhood.

Of course, things are slightly different with a health lockdown in place.

They’ll be lighting the first of the Advent candles at church, but we’ll all be watching from the safety of our computer screens.

I just hope, we’ll either see little blister and the nephews in and around the lifting of lockdown, or we’ll have a “Spring Christmas” when it’s safe to do so.

Perhaps , its the lack of Tinsel and a Tree in the Front Room that’s causing my spot of melancholy…..

<HEX> HEY! – I WANNA SEE THE HOGFATHER!!!!
