“Most dumped boyfriend”

The words on the medal read,

he’d placed the metal over his eye

to lessen the swelling to his head

He washed away the lipstick

from the cheek they’d kissed

as they skipped off with their new beau

oh! just how they were missed

The medal weighed heavy around his neck

but lighter than his heart

as every day he’d see them all

it almost tore him apart

But one day , by the water well

as they were out at play

another chanced a chance at love

and hoped he’d look their way

So collecting up some flowers , a bunch

he took the young girl out to lunch

they hung around for a while

and he asked her dad – to walk her down the aisle!
