How i wish the rain would give me a break
Even now, concentric circles are being created
In the wells and cracks of the tarmac outside
Garden’s might appreciate the water – but its not what i’d call
Hot, the rain is decidedly cold today
Hopes are, mother nature will provide a little respite
On which occasion – i won’t get drenched in the stairrods
