In response to Fandango’s one word challenge
You knew your nephew wouldn’t eat his greens
every mealtime saw a trip to the bin
but appreciating his happy sweet tooth
you snook something into pudding unseen
and eating with the custard you did grin
as he ate up his carrots with a great big smile
hidden in the sponge cake with sultanas between
and wouldn’t complain about veg – for a while
